We will Learn More As The Inquiry Proceeds

The Elliot Lake Mall Rescue Operation was a failure and lives were lost Most of The rescue operation was done under a veil of secrecay as the corridor was blocked off to the public . None of the residents or friends of the victims could find out what was going on.
The town was swarming with reporters and at various intervals media conferences were held for
the press and television stations.

Jennifer Tryon who works for Global was truly a dedicated reporter and she took her job to heart
I thank her and all the reporters who really worked hard and for long hours. The hotels were all booked in Elliot Lake and they had to find shelter as far as Spanish and Blind River

WHAT TRANSPIRED WE MAY NEVER KNOW

Jennifer was kicked out of  City Hall . The police were called and she was escorted out because she asked a question and requested information

I do not know how the rescue crew was appointed for this mission and the inquiry will likely investigate every aspect of who what when and how things were done. Who made the decisions when and why?

Not having all the facts I conclude that the wrong people were sent to do a job they could not handle .
The rescue operation having been canceled, I walked up and asked a worker what was going on and why they quit. I was told the rescuers had wives and families and it was to dangerous for them to go in there and get themselves killed.
I now find out that the rescuers were on their first mission in a period of ten years. They once had a gas fire in Totronto and that is the extent of their rescue operations

Of course Rescue Missions can be very dangerous and Firemen, Policemen, EMCA 's can all be exposed to danger. Customarily if a person goes into that type of work they accept the risks that go with the job. I have never ever heard of rescuers quitting when a live person was trapped. What makes it worst is there were experienced miners  and an experience professional rescue team there on location and whomever was calling the shots denied them access.
Much of the information we were given did not make sense , I do not believe it was sucidal to proceed with the rescue and I cannot prove otherwise. I can prove that the whole mall was not going to
to collapse at anytime as we were told. I can prove that Zellers and most of the Mall could have been salvaged. The demolition was done on a large scale and it destroyed the evidence of the section where the slabs had collapsed. I do not believe the escalator would have pushed anything down ,but I am not an engineer. The engineers are experts and they are the experts that said all the mall was safe.

Apparently the search included equipment and dogs which could detect life and tapping was heard and life was detected. If that was factual , I can only think of someone trapped in there in that awful wet cold weather will a whole town  outside  and no one doing anything. At one point the crowd was getting very agitated and the Rescue Operation was restarted as a Search and Demolition operation .
I think it is essential to have an inquiry but I have no faith in the government who initiated it and in the people elected to represent us . I think The Class Action Law suits will bring facts to light and spending a few Mllion Dollars for an inquiry that may jeopordize the evidence in the criminal investigation being conducted by the OPP and the evidence in The Class Action Lawsuits is a waste of taxpayers money , and being that the government is one of the parties included  in the class action , the whole thing may be unconstitutional and infriging on constitutional rights. This may be a case for The Supreme Court of Canada  one without precedence. Whereas an Inquiry is ordered by the government and then the government is prorogued and the premier steps down  and The Province is being sued in a Class Action which is the main focus of The Inquiry
